1963年生於岐阜縣岐阜市。1986年自愛知縣立藝術大學畢業，1989年取得同大學大學院的碩士學位。1990年至1996年期間，就讀於杜塞道夫藝術學院（德國），師習藝術家Konrad Klapheck，並於1993年取得德國藝術家最高資格Meisterschüler。主要個展有「park」（Taka Ishii Gallery，東京，2019年）、「Painting and … vol.3 Kyoko Murase」（Gallery αM，東京，2018）、「Sapphire」（Taka Ishii Gallery，東京，2010年）、「Fluttering far away」（豊田市美術館，愛知，2010年）、「Cicada and horned owl（蟬與雕鴞）」（梵奇雕刻庭園美術館，靜岡，2007年）等。參與過的群展包含「GARDEN OF PAINTING: Japanese Art of the 00s（繪畫的庭園：〇〇年代的日本藝術）」（國立國際美術館，大阪，2010年）、「In the Little Playground: Nobuya Hitsuda and His Students（放學後的操場 櫃田伸也和他的學生們）」（愛知縣美術館・名古屋市美術館，愛知，2009年）、「Red Hot: Asian Art Today from the Chaney Family Collection」休士頓美術館（2007年）、「Roppongi Crossing: New Visions in Contemporary Japanese Art 2004（六本木交叉點：日本藝術的新展望2004）」（森美術館，東京，2004年）、「MOT Annual 2002 – Fiction? Painting the reality in the Age of the Virtual -」（東京都現代美術館，東京，2002年）。
