Taka Ishii Gallery Kyoto is proud to present a special autumn exhibition of works by the flower artist Takeshi Sakamura. For this exhibition, Sakamura will place Kyoto’s fall colors inside wooden vessels made by Hiroto Nakanishi.

Born in 1984, Nakanishi is an artist who makes works by delicately carving, while also using their original textures, solid pieces of decayed and split pieces of wood. This exhibition will also include numerous new works by Nakanishi.
