We wish to inform you that Taka Ishii Gallery Kyoto has closed; its last day was July 13 (Sat), 2013.

We are sincerely grateful to have received so many visitors in the last five years since Taka Ishii Gallery Kyoto opened in November 2008. It has been a great learning experience for us to operate a contemporary art gallery in Japan’s old capital.

We plan to continue taking part, on a project-basis, in various exhibitions in Kyoto and hope that you will continue to support Taka Ishii Gallery and Taka Ishii Gallery Photography/Film in Tokyo.
