Ei Arakawa “O.E.C.F.D.S.”

Taka Ishii Gallery is pleased to announce “O.E.C.F.D.S.” (One Evening and the Consequent Five Days are the Same), organized by the gallery artist, Ei Arakawa. This event/exhibition will be held in TOLOT / heuristic SHINONOME, a newly established large scale contemporary art site in Shinonome, Tokyo. Three distinct performances at the opening will be presented while sometimes one performance overlaps to another. The exhibition includes a new large size painting work by Shimon Minamikawa among others.

Ei Arakawa is an artist based in New York.
Shimon Minamikawa is a painter based in Tokyo.
Daishiro Mori is a designer based in Tokyo.
Aki Takahashi is a pianist based in Tokyo.
Sergei Tcherepnin is an artist and composer based in New York.
Sen Uesaki is an archivist based in Tokyo.

The exhibition is produced with the cooperation of MISAKO & ROSEN, Tokyo and Overduin and Kite, Los Angeles.

Ei Arakawa and Shimon Minamikawa’s collaborative installation will be also exhibited in “Roppongi Crossing 2013: OUT OF DOUBT”, an upcoming exhibition at Mori Art Museum, Tokyo, opening on Saturday, September 21. Ei Arakawa will also be a part of The 56th Carnegie International, Pittsburgh, starting October 5.
